Windows Vista not detecting a wireless network

Guide: How to connect to a network not visible to your computer (Note: Vista problems---> Solved)

1st: Open Control Panel

2nd: Go to Network Sharing and Center...

3rd: Click Set up a connection or network

4th: Click Manually connect to a wireless network

5th: Choose Wireless Network Connection in the wireless adapter then hit next

6th: Type the network name (ex. ferdie), choose security type (ex. wpa2- Personal, wpa-personal or whatever the security is... if the network use wpa-personal then choose it.)

7th: Select the encryption type (ex. TKIP or AES or you can choose both if your laptop has an option of both.)

8th: Type in the security key/Passphrase (Note: you check the display characters for you to be sure that you type the correct security key/Passphrase)

9th: Check Start this connection automatically.

10th: Just hit next until its finish. Congratulations... you've done it!
